    Hi. Well done on getting onto that bike, especially since you needed to volunteer some elbow grease! Enjoy your next ride, weather is supposed to stay nice too. - I've noticed a lot more cyclists around over the last couple of weeks which usually means that other motorists start paying a little bit more attention to, but stay alert & stay safe. emoticon

    Hi screwie, Sorry I've not been in touch & replied to you - I forgot I'd added another email address & when I checked this one again I had 104 emails -eek! I'm sorry to hear that you're allergic to metal buttons and some materials - that must be somewhat limiting but at least most t-shirts are still cotton, especially 'rock' ones!! I'm also a bit of rock fan too :-) I'm glad you liked the charity shop suggestion but I agree about the logo/designer advertising thing... Unfortunately I'm near the south coast so nowhere near North London but having said that my sister lived in South London up until recently so I know different parts of London reasonably well. Have you been to the south before? Let me know how it's going with you? I promise to check my emails more often in future!

    I really don't jog much -- just a few feet and then I walk again. I try to keep a really brisk pace with the walking and add some hills. It's easier on my knees, doesn't make me feel self conscious, and it gets my heart pumping really well!

    Another secret is I don't jog on the blocks where there are lots of people around! I know, it's weird, but it's where I am right now...
