I run a government agency that helps low income and elderly people get the homecare they need to stay in their homes. I have great co-workers, two of whom walk with me for a morning break almost every day.
My wife and I both want to lose weight and be in better shape. I found SprkPeople while researching the OptiFast diet, and decided this would be the healthy way to go.
I enjoy cycling, mountain biking, reading, watching movies, and have just started back taking road trips.

My Goals:
I need to drop about 85 pounds. I am adding strength training, being more dedicated to my exercise plan, drinking water, and trying to improve my sleep to 8 hours a day.


My Program:
Trying to be more dedicated and consistent by following a specific exercise program that includes strength training. I started traking my food eaten today, and plan to be more consistent with my fruites and veggies!



Personal Information:
I live in Stockton CA, but grew up in the Bay Area. I went to De La Salle High School, St Mary's College, and eventually graduated from Cal State Univ. East Bay as a Psychology major. In additiona to my job, I teach/coach stress management, brain fitness, anger management etc.

Thinking about goals. Just not reaching them…wonder why getting healthier and have better odds of living is not quite enough. But I am truly proof that it is not enough. I have seen your bold lists out there, and think it may be worth a try. So here are my goals:
