I am a strong woman who loves herself and has a soul full of serenity. My whole Being and Spirit belongs to my God and I dearly love my husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchild, pets, and friends known, and yet to know. Although my life has been difficult and I have struggled in many different areas, I have learned many things and am still learning! I am not afraid to risk or fail because that is how I succeed - by trying and failing.. If one way doesn't work for me after giving it a good chance, then I don't beat my head against a wall, I just try another way! The universe is vast and open. I reach outward and inward to fulfill my goals and dreams. For I believe that God has blessed me to be a blessing.

My Goals:
Presently, I just have 2 long term goals and several short term goals: Long term I want to 1. Become pain free :) 2, Lose weight slowly and surely so that my body will adjust and accept my new healthy weight as natural for myself. Short term include stretch and any kind of exercise daily, take each day as it comes and accept it without frustration or anxiety, be grateful for what I have daily, and to give to others daily however that may take shape.


My Program:
I try to review each day before I go to sleep to see how I did - celebrating my successes and forgiving myself for my failures or mistakes no matter how big or small. I don't beat myself up or require pennance! Usually just a I'll do better or try this differently unless I hurt someone, etc. I also try to lay out the next day.

The next morning I look at the goals and reality takes over! and decide what I can do according to how I feel or what comes up!
Because I love myself, I accept what I can and can't do physically.



Personal Information:
I am a middle aged professional (RN), obviously from MO, who loves life, and loves my family. I love to read, sew ( have almost enough to get a new top end machine - YES), garden, play with my grandchildren, and pets.

    Thanks for the goodie, Amy. February can't come soon enough for me. My dad and I are going to Belize then and our February trip is always the light at the end of the tunnel for me with the cold, dark, damp months beforehand.

    Thank you for stopping by my page and saying hi and a greeting for my birthday! We did have a good time with the kids and g/kids. Good foods, goods kids, good grief, another birthday!!! (It was chocolate brownies, frosted!)

    Hello darling! I am the new co-leader on the RA Fit Chicks Club Team. I hope you are able to stop by the team page and give us an update on how you are doing, or even participate in our challenges.

    We are continuing our weekly weigh-in challenge. We weigh in every Wednesday. If Wednesday doesn't work for you, pick a day and just update us weekly. And if you'd rather not share your actual weight, you can post those pounds lost or gained (-2 pounds, +2 pounds).

    We are also still Hiking Through Europe. This is a step equivalent exercise that you use to convert all your exercise into steps. You report your steps every Saturday and we calculate the total miles and then update you on how far the team has walked and in which city we end up, and a few facts about that city. We are currently in Finland.
