Hello I am a 52 years old and on the journey to better health and feeling better about myself, I feel that this is my year to shine well guess I should say this year and next because this year is almost over with, I would love to be at my goal weight before or by the time I turn 53 which is in the middle part of July. I plan on achieving this goal by watching my calories each and everyday, and drinking my water and also by exercising, right now I am I am trying to find exercise that will not aggravate my right foot. I am currently working at Marshalls warehouse and by the time I get home my foot is really painful. I love sparkpeople I love the people they are encouraging and always there for you and also the information that you can get here.
I have four kids 2 of which are adults 30and 28 and two that are 17 and 15 boy girl boy girl.
I live back In Arizona where I was born and raised only left the state once and that was in 2007-2008 I lived in Ohio for four months, I did like Ohio the people were nice and it was pretty, than I wounded up living in New York did not like New York and didn't like the winters at all too cold for this desert rat.
Well this is just a little about me.

My goals are to lose this weight exercise more and be a good role model for my children


My Program:
I am watching my calories and like to walk, and do aerobic tapes. I am doing tae bo and still walking, I am still planning on joining a gym hopefully in the next few months.



Personal Information:
I am back in Arizona where I belong.


Other Information:
my favorite music is country love toby keith, favorite shows are csi, law and order, without a trace, king of queens, everybody loves raymond, anything that has to do with weight loss, I am also a biggest loser fan.

    I wish my entire fellow Sparkers a Happy and Healthy Thanksgiving. I am so thankful for each and every one of you. I am thankful to have you as part of my extended family as we say on our team. You have helped make me the person I am today. I am getting healthier and stronger everyday with your constant support and motivation.

    My advice for the Holiday, choose your battles carefully. Tread carefully here my friends. The consequence of your choices will all be on you. You have worked too hard and you look too good to blow it now. You joined SparkPeople to overcome these urges or learn how to plan for them so you can indulge in a comfort food here or there. Don’t forget all of the hard work you have put in and all you have learned. You have come so far! Learn how to celebrate the day without the emphasis on food. If you should indulge in that dessert please make sure that you and your family, we want them healthy too, take a long walk after dinner to digest and burn off some of the calories from dinner. Hitting the couch after a big Thanksgiving meal is now a thing of the past. Yup, no more.

    Happy Thanksgiving! If you are driving, travel safely!
