~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~My weigh in~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Week 1:
Fat % = 28.3
Water % = 50.4
Weight = 9 stone 9 lb 4 oz

Week 2:
Weight = 9 stone 8 lb 8 oz
I measured body and fat percentages and wrote them down but have completely forgot where I've put these numbers!

Week 3:
Fat % = 26.9
Water % = 51.4
Weight = 9 stone 6 lb 2 oz

Week 4:
scales are broken! can't weigh myself

Week 5:
scales are broken! can't weigh myself!

Week 6:
I was weighed at the doctors this week for a health check up :)
Weight = 9 stone 1 lb
I was weighed on a different set of scales obviously so hopefully this weight is right...if it is...woohoo!

Week 2 = One pound: weigh in day = November 5th 2007
Week 3 = One pound: weigh in day = November 12th 2007

**My big mini goal**

My housemate's Christmas work party is on December 14th and he has invited me as his guest! I want to look fab :) So I hope to lose a pound a week until then. Game on!

~~Me and my weight~~

I have put on a stone since the age of 18. I lost all my previous teenage weight through joining Slimming World and mainly eating myself through 'Green Days'. As soon as school fn inished however, I went to University and the weight piled on.

Since graduating I have been trying for a loooong time to lose this weight. It is hard to lose it when people keep telling me that I look 'fine' and are therefore not really supportive of my goal. I have been constantly yo-yo dieting since the age of 18 and I need to get buckled down, sorted out and back to 9 stone! I know myself that I'm not overweight but I am not comfortable with this extra baggage: I want to look 'amazing' not 'fine'.

~~How can I change myself?~~

Losing weight and maintaining involves a complete lifestyle change and all year I just haven't been in the right frame of mind for that but I'm determind to reach my goal by the end of December for a new me in 2008 :)

Plan! If I can look at my social calender, I can spot where I might slip and plan for that.

~~My Nutrition~~

I cannot praise Slimming World enough for their diet plan. You eat what you want, how much you want, when you want. It is all based on healthy eating - a fab way to live I say! They have a website:

- lifetime member of the Clean Plate Club
- continue to eat beyond the point where I'm not hungry anymore
- don't feel I've eaten until I'm stuffed

What can I do about it?

- Use a smaller plate
- Eat more slowly
- Do something different with my friends rather than eating
- Read articles on portion control

~~My exercise~~

I'm attempting aerobics exercise dvds at home for now, as I am quite simply scared of the gym hehe.

My Goals:
My goal is to lose a stone to reach my goal weight of 9 stone.

My other goal is to increase my fitness level, doing a mixture of aerobics, swimming, toning and weight training.

My Program:
I am currently following the Slimming World diet and exercising and toning on alternate days.

    Hi Alice,
    It's cool that you want to be a psychologist! I plan on being a child psychologist as I love working with children and I find psychology very interesting so it seemed the obvious choice.
    I weighed myself yesterday and I'm 118 so 1lb above my tracker which isn't too bad seeing as how lazy I've been and how much crap I've eaten!

    Nice to hear from someone in the UK! What part of London do you live/work in? I'm in Buckinghamshire, you've probably heard of it.
    I was on a different site before too but it was nothing compared to this, this site is amazing!!
    I am close to my goal...but I don't feel it. I don't notice any change in my body at all. I think my scales are wrong. I went to Spain a couple of weeks ago and ate pretty much everything in sight which is a necessity when on holiday and I haven't weighed myself since then so I think I'm probably a pound or 2 heavier then my tracker thingy says.
    Anyway thanks for your message, keep up the good work!

    Nope, no day picked out yet. I have a good friend that lives in Edinburgh though and he finally talked us into it after making me jealous every conversation. I'm going to try for a full 100 pounds before we get married, but I've already lost almost 75 of it and I'm sure it'll be at least another year before he "officially" proposes ;)

    So, Ms. Rocker - any underground London rock bands I should know about? What are your favorites?
