Introduction Text I have the typical story of most, I have battled the weight all my life. In 2003, at 393#'s I opted for gastric bypass. It was a success and I lost 193#'s and was blessed with two beautiful girls in 2006 and 2008. My weight battles began again after each pregnancies. Though I have not gained all my weight back (still 100#'s to the good). I'm miserable and I'm not happy with my body. I am going back to the basics, monitor my caloric intake, eating protein first in every meal. I have already lost 7#'s and I have a long way to go. One thing I have learned in my life is each journey begins with one step, so that's what I'm doing...one step at a time and one day at a time.

1st Goal: Hit 270 (weight after 1st child) - by 12/31/2012 - DONE 1/11/2013 2nd Goal: Weigh 265 by 1/19/2013 (cruise day) - DONE ************* RESET BELOW GOALS on 2/28/13: 3rd Goal: Weigh 260 by 3/31/13 DONE (struggled from 3/31 to 6/10 to stay on track. Weight increased to 267).... RESET BELOW GOALS on 7/4/2013 - Goal is no more than 2#'s/week - Current weight 259 **************** 3rd Goal: 249 (one bracket down on dr. scale) by 8/15/2013 4th Goal: 239 by 9/19/2013 5th Goal: 229 by 10/24/2013 6th Goal: 219 by 11/28/2013 7th Goal: 209 by 12/31/2013 8th Goal: 200 by 1/31/2014 (My lowest after Gastric Bypass) 8th Goal: 190 by 2/25/2014 (40th Birthday) 9th Goal: 180 by 4/1/2014 10th Goal: For the first time in my life hit my "Ideal" weight of 170#'s by 5/8/2014 (15 year wedding anniversary)

Starting at square one. Logging food and excercise on Sparkpeople. Made to Crave- Learning to Crave God more and lean on God instead of food.

I'm happily married and blessed with two beautiful girls. I'm striving to get this weight off so I can be healthier and so I am able to stay active with my kids.
