Getting back on the wagon
I've struggled with my weight since high school, gaining about 10 lbs a year from 12th grade until a couple years after I got my Master's degree. I finally couldn't stand it anymore, and lost 80 lbs. through diet and exercise. I kept that off for about 3 years, and then lost another 10 lbs over the course of 5 months while getting really toned. But, after going through some tough times emotionally, I've gained 40 lbs in past year. Now I'm ready to get back on the wagon and get back to where ...

Updated: I wrote the above about 4 years ago. I was on a decent path and the found out I was pregnant. There was a lot of things that came with that...marriage, baby, moving 500 miles, a new job...and weight. So much weight. Not baby weight, but emotional weight. I got up to 217 lbs and now I'm fighting to get back down.

My Goals:
Reach my goal weight of 125. Increase my tone, muscle strength, and cardio endurance.
My Program:
I'm monitoring my calories and try to stay between 1300-1600. I'm also back at the gym, and I'm aiming for 5 days a week.
Personal Information:
I live in Maryland, have a Master's degree, and own my own home. I have a cat, Bella, who lets me live with her as long as I pay the mortgage and feed her twice a day. Update, now I pay the mortgage for the dog, Rosie, too!
Other Information:
I love to read and can spend hours reading a good, or even mediocre, book. I'm a big fan of mystries, suspense, and books that describe other cultures. When the weather allows I love biking and hiking. I also like to go rock-wall climbing.
