Hello I am a person who strives for the best and then quickly loses interest if it does not happen fast enough. I know that this weight did not come on over night and neither did my bad eating habits, but I just wish there was an easier way than playing the tick tock game. My family supports me, except when their sweet tooth hits. Our family recently found out that one of our members is allergic to wheat so we have started to eat gluten free products. This makes eating at home almost mandatory. Plus for losing weight, not a plus when it comes to having to learn how to cook with out gluten. LOL!

My Goals:
I would love to lose 2 or more pounds per week. To be able to achieve this goal I am going to focus on cutting back on sugary ,bad foods, and focus on changing my eating habits to be health conscious.

My Program:
Cutting back on calorie and sugar intake. Drink a gallon of Alkaline water daily. Starting to make a lot of meals from scratch. Learning to make gluten free products at home.

Personal Information:
I have had a interesting life so far. My childhood I like to think was wonderful, but I know a lot of my eating habits steam from my wonderful childhood (sarcasm). I would get told the famous line that there were starving children and I needed to eat my food because I was lucky enough to have food. I had a wonderful grandfather who was of Italian decent. We ate pasta pasta, french bread, and pasta! Of course i still love Italian food, but now that we have to be gluten free it puts a small but good wrench in my love for food.

Welcome to Spark, and best wishes on your journey. SP has a lot of great features and I suggest you take it slow and not become overwhelmed. Join some groups for motivation and support, and get to know your classmates!

Have a great weekend, and feel free to have a piece of chocolate or two. It is a once a year event after all. Portion control is the most important thing to remember, and that this should be a lifestyle change, and not just a diet.

I'm so with you with it comes to the whole perfectionist streak! That's been one of the hardest things for me to overcome, but I'm getting there! I just keep telling myself that it's going to take time & work to get back to my healthy self.

    Good luck!!
