    start ASAP! you can pick one up at a sporting goods store for like $20, or they might have them in your gym. if you want a really good one, these are AWESOME! and feel like you're getting a massage: http://www.rumbleroller.com/ it will hurt a little as you're rolling, especially at first, but if you keep at it for a few minutes the pain will subside. just keep at it for a few minutes per session, rolling out wherever you're tight/sore. lacrosse balls are also really, really helpful--or tennis balls, or racquetballs, depending on where you need the mobility help.
