For so long I have been more focused on others. I have stopped doing activities I enjoyed because of what "others" might say. I have changed what I say or what I do because "others" tell me its not proper to think that way. I am not saying that every negative thing in my life is because I have focused on others. I am saying that I have given myself the excuse of not changing, not doing, not being myself because I always have "others" to look after.

With the help of a new counselor as well as the support of my friends and family, this year is all about "SELF". Who I am now and what I need to do to change that.

My Goals:
Long Term Goals :
Lose 100 pounds in 2015. It is a challenge but at the same time if I stick with my program it is do able while still pushing me. And I know I have at least 100 pounds to lose.

Fit into a 3X shirt by my 30th birthday (October 2015). Again this is a stretch because I am currently wearing a 5X but with the proper diet and exercise program I can lose the weight and melt the inches off where I should be able to do this.

Fit into a size 24 Jeans by my 30th Birthday. I am currently wearing a size 28/30 pants and if I continue to lose the inches like I think I will I should have no problem dropping 2 or 3 sizes this year.

Walk a 5k in October 2015. At the moment I am struggling with walking up and down the stairs but I know it is possible in 10 months to get to the point where I am walking a 5k. The reason I choose October is because the local Children's Hospital hosts a Small Miracles walk to benefit the NICU and it has been a dream of min

My Program:
In the past I have found the best program in calories in vs calories out and after all is that what every doctor is going to tell you anyways?

Sparkpeople tells me I need to consume between 1630 and 1980 calories every day. It also shows I should exercise 180 minutes a week burning at least 1100 calories a week. I have NO IDEA what that will look like for me but I do know if I continue doing it the way "I know" I will continue getting results "I have" so this time I am going to do the way someone else tells me to.

Personal Information:
I was born in 1985. I am an only child born to 2 amazing parents who both suffer from morbid obesity as well as other health conditions as a result of their weight and issues with food. I married a man who was my whole world and have since realized neither one of us can be everything for the other but rather we are partners in this journey. I am a mother of an amazing daughter who was born in 2011 with some breathing problems. She is doing amazing now but she does have some special needs.

    Thank you for dropping by my blog, "...Attitude Adjustment Needed." I do find the BLC a serious challenge but it keeps me on the straight and narrow. Sometimes better than other times but the accountability is good for me. Looking forward to seeing you around next round. I know there are people who have tried several different teams before they found the right match for them. Hopefully, you'll find the encouragement and support you need next round.

    Thanks for your visit to my page! I do plan on getting pictures and measurements this week at exercise class. Im not going to like it but I know seeing the numbers and then watching them all go down will be great!
