I''ve taken my overall health more seriously since I joined the Spark People website. By logging (tracking) my nutrition, I''''ve learned that what I had originally thought was a good meal choice wasn''''t nearly as good as it could have been and look forward to becoming a far more knowledgeable member by reading the many resources that are available to me on Spark People in the future. I know now that after mow spending three plus years on this web site that there are going to be weight losses, gains and plateaus throughout each year. One day and one meal at a time. Success to all and to all good health. People helping people in many ways!

Fitness Minutes: 122,983

My Goals:
Continue with the same lifestyle that I've been living since I joined the Spark People web site. Being sure to make healthy choices with my nutrition and fitness in order to get my weight down under 240 lbs. by the end of March, 2015.

My Program:
Tracking my meals honestly without cheating.

Being sure that I am eating plenty of fruits & vegetables on a daily basis.

Stepping up the fitness routine by biking, walking and working out the Gym.

Being more active on the weekends so that I'm burning more calories and not hanging out like a couch potato stuffing unhealthy food in my mouth.

Personal Information:
I live and work in the great state of Massachusetts on the North Shore. I moved here from Northern Kentucky in 1970 when I was just 7 years old and I guess that makes me a half century young.

I live with my 15 year old son and seeing my 18 year old daughter when she slows down enough from her busy life to talk to me.

Other Information:
I like reading all my fellow Spark People members success and failure stories to use as motivation for myself.

I also enjoy being active with responses to other members' blog entries to support their ups and downs throughout the year and occasionally finding a friend or two that have common interests.
