    Well hey!
Ummm, whats it like being an Army wife...It has its ups and downs like everything. I love the stability of his paycheck, that he gets one month of paid leave a year, he feels great about his job and what he's doing, and that we get to travel! Or will, once this Drill Sgt. bit is over:p He's trying for Germany once we're done here! YAY! The downs are that the military owns you...They say jump and you say how high. He could be deployed at any minute again...That last one sucked! Not really keen on him being shot at if you know what I mean:) He's gone from home a lot. Being in the military its almost impossible to plan for anything i.e vacation, wedding, you name it! but all in all its a great gig and I can't complain too much:) As for your weight loss, that is what I'm doing, taking one day every two weeks and allowing myself to splurge...I won't go insane or anything but if I want a cookie I'll eat that durn cookie and not even think about apologizing:p Hope your weekend is off to a great start! See ya:)

I've been pretty good, thanks. Off and on but now that I have switched my lifestyle things have drastically improved!! Now I just need to get to the gym a little more regularly :)

Hey! I'm doing pretty well, how about yourself? I've been making an effort to workout, keep my alcohol consumption to a minimum, and resist the huge plate of peanut butter cookies that are in my kitchen. It's harder than I thought it would be, but I leave for South America in two weeks and the thought of wearing a bikini is helping me stay strong!

Honestly. I love going to the gym. It's just the getting there that is the hardest part. And I find if I don't go with a plan it is a workout disaster. I usually take classes that combine cardio and weights, such as total body blast, boot camp, kickboxing plus strength...those types. I also think taking a friend or finding someone who is motivational is also helpful. Plus, at my gym, we have a filing cabinet where we keep our workout cards and when I first signed up at the gym a trainer showed me around and showed me how to work the circuit and which weights to start out with which machines so that helped a lot. I go and do the circuit and if that weight was managable, I add an arrow so I know to go up in weight the next time. So that's been pretty good for me. :) But I must say, classes are my favorite. I think they challenge you the most and you are less likely to quit in the middle of class or not finish your exercise. :)
