So I have struggled with my weight my entire life. In the past several years however I was able to reach and maintain a reasonable weight of 150 to 160. Of course I was not happy with that weight and was fighting my way down to 130. This month I gave birth to my son and now have a whole new respect for my body and what an appropriate size is for me. I got pregnant at 160 and my goal was to not exceed 200 pounds. On the day I delivered, I weighed 198! As high as that weight may be, I was thrilled that I met my goal! Now I am ready to tackle this weight and am hoping that Spark People will be a way to hold myself accountable. It has been three weeks and I am down to 180. Not putting every sweet thing I lay eyes on is a daily struggle for me and has been for as far back as I can remember. Not just sweets - I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to eat! Sweets just happen to be my biggest downfall. I'm ready to get started and hope to find hope and inspiration on this site. Maybe I can do the same for others along the way.

My Goals:
Reach goal weight of 150 pounds (and stay there) by staying within a reasonable calorie range and exercising regularly. And to stay patient with myself while on this journey.

Keep it simple, be consistent and be patient and tolerant of slip ups.
