Well, I'm a forty-somthin work-a-holic who loves her job and has come to hate the effect my fitness level and weight is having on not only my personal, private life but my professional life as well as my health. A serious car accident 11 years ago derailed a fairly healthy lifestyle and a comfortable weight of 135 that I had maintained pretty much effortlessly for almost 15 years. It was easy, especially at first, to blame the weight gain on medical problems from the accident, then on a series of personal crises that I went through, but those excuses no longer work, and no longer am I satisfied with "Oh well, that's the way I am".... so HERE I am... hoping that maybe by not going this alone (well, at least with some online backup) I will have more luck than I have at all my previous attempts at weight loss and lifestyle changes!
