I started this journey in Febuary 2010 when I was 43 and in a relationship that I thought would be forever. Almost a year later alot has changed.
I'm 44 years old now and I've lost 83 lbs as of today. I've gone from a size 26/28 to an 16 or xl in most things. I 've gone from barely being able to walk a mile to trying to start running 60 seconds at a time (and feeling like I was gonna puke) to running regularly. I've competed in several 5K's and one 8K. I 've gone from barely being able to walk a mile to trying to start running 60 seconds at a time (and feeling like I was gonna puke) to running regularly. I've competed in several 5K's and one 8K. I am single again. My relationship ended in Sept. But I WILL NOT let that derail me from this journey I am on. I will be fit and slim and the best me I can be!!!
I am on my way to 100 lb weight loss. I will get there. After that, anything is possible!

My Goals:
My goals are great and small:
Lose 100+ pounds
Wear regular sized clothes (no plus sizes)
but I can not look at 100+ pounds and do this, so my small goals are:
1. move scale to next 20 lb marker -- May 2010
2. Lose 40 lbs -- June 2010
3. Lose 50 lbs -- July 2010
4. Run 1 mile without stopping -- August 1, 2010
5. Move scale next 20 lb marker -- August 2010
6. Run 2 miles w/o stopping - August 2010
7. Lose 60 lbs -Sept '10
8. Run a 5K = Oct 10
9. Lose 70 lbs - Oct '10
10. Run an 8K rac=Nov10
11. Move scale next 20 lb marker - Dec '10
12. Lose 80 lbs - Dec 10
13. Lose 90 lbs = Mar 11
14. Run a 10K race
15. Move scale next 20 lb marker
16. Wear all misses size clothes = Mar 11
17. Lose 100 lbs
My Program:
Healthy food choices EVERYDAY!
No high sugar foods
Whole grain foods
Lots of veggies and fruit
Lots of water
Exercise at least 5 days a week
