I have struggled with my weight for the majority of my life. I was the queen of "I'll start tomorrow", "Next time I'll eat something healthier", I'm gonna start working out Monday!" There are no more tomorrows, just today. Just the here and now! My weight has held me back for to long and I refuse to waste another day of this beautiful life God has blessed me with. I 'm 35 and married 5 years *wow time flies*. I joined Spark a few years ago and after a year of little to no success, I knew something was wrong with my body. It took almost another year before I was finally diagnosed with hypothyroidism. We are looking forward to starting a family, but I have to get healthy before we can even try. On my own I feel I have no will power or self-control, but I feel holding myself more accountable will help make me more successful! I'm hoping that Spark will help me on my journey.

My Goals:
2013 Goals

It's hard to have weight loss goals with hypothyroidism. Weight loss is sporadic and difficult to achieve, so 3-4 lbs a month would be optimal.

My Program:
I use a variety of HITT workouts.

As far as nutrition goes, I follow a low carb, high protein and fiber plan. I get in as many fresh fruits and veggies as I can. Plus, 8 glasses of water daily. I've recently started going GF to help with the hypothyroidism.

I also take a multivitamin and calcium supplement to help round things out.

Personal Information:
I was born and raised in New Braunfels and am currently residing in San Antonio. I graduated with my BA in Communication from UTSA Dec 2010. My dream job is to be a corporate event planner and author. I hope to get to a healthy weight sometime this year so that we can get pregnant and have a safe, healthy pregnancy.

    The flowers and blossoms are filling the air with the smells of Spring. This is the time to start preparing for the Summer. Are you ready to join a Challenge? The Biggest Loser Challenge is looking for members for it’s next Challenge starting the first week of June. The challenge consists of 11 Teams, that participate in 10 weeks of Nutritional and Fitness Challenges. These challenges can be modified to fit individual needs, allowing members of all abilities and dietary needs to participate.
