I'm Tammie and single mom to three kids - my oldest daughter is 19 and in the Air Force, her picture is my background - my son is 17 and my youngest daughter is 8. I work full time as an architectural designer for a design/build company and i have a free-lance design consultant company of my own.

In the past, i've always been too busy worrying about everyone else & i've finally decided to finally do what I've been talking about doing for several years, and lose the weight I've accumlated since I had my first daughter 18 years ago! I'm hoping that it will not only make me feel better physically, but mentally, and give me the confidence boost that people tell me I deserve. I need help, I know I cannot do it myself, so I welcome any encouragement I can find. Good luck to you all!

January 5, 2011 - starting over again. it's has nothing to do with a new years resolution, just circumstances in my life that make me want to feel better about myself. i've done it before, so i know what it takes, i just hope it have the energy again this time

July 12, 2008 (vacation 6-30 to 7-6) - 145 lbs.

July 10, 2011 - American Cancer Society's Bike-A-Thon across New Jersey - 61 miles - DONE in record time despite an accident at mile 7 that landed me in the hospital after i finished all 61 miles!

June 18, 2011 - Indian Creek Foundation - 21 miles - DONE

July 11, 2010 - American Cancer Society's Bike-A-Thon across New Jersey - 56 miles, trying to beat my previous time!

June 19, 2010 - Indian Creek FOundation - Roll & Stroll - 25 miles

May 8, 2010 - SCU Green Lane ride - 23 miles, DONE

July 13, 2008 - American Cancer Society's Bike-A-Thon across New Jersey - 56 miles -
DONE in 4 hours!!

* lose a total of 55 lbs

* fit into a size 4

on 4-28-09, i FIT INTO A SIZE 6 AGAIN!!!! i just have to get back there again!!

* be able to ride the ACS Bike-A-Thon this year without it killing me for a change - July 2008 - I FELT GREAT & MADE IT WITH NO PROBLEM!!

* have more energ

I'm a carb, chocolate and sugar-junkie, so reducing the overall number of carbs is key for me, but I also have to get my butt to the gym as often as I can!

Personal Information:
I'm 41 years old and live in SE Pennsylvania (Philly 'burbs) - i am a former child/teen gymnast that had a killer 6-pack and 9% body fat, so it KILLS me now that i have this body to deal with! i'm changing that NOW and never looking back!

I have three awesome kids, daughter, Kristen - 19; son, Steven - 17; daughter, Paige - 8
I can't imagine what life would be like without them - they're both my joy and frustration, and wouldn't change it for anything!
