Well, here I am on the back end of my 40's (just turned 46 in June). I have so much happiness in my life and want to be around for a very long time to enjoy all of the blessings that I have received. I have gone back and forth with my weight ever since I had my three children-now ages 24, 21, and 20. I have had highs and lows and everything in between. I have tried so many diets. Some more effectively than others. I have never had a problem with losing the weight. I seem to have a problem with finding it again-time after time! Now, my main goal is become as healthy as I can be. That is my newfound goal to which I am totally dedicated.

My Goals:
I am determined to get back to a healthy weight - lower my BMI.

I would love to lower my cholesterol level and stop taking meds.

I want to look good and be healthy enough to keep up with my family as well as having the stamina to keep up with my first graders everyday.

My Program:
I am currently following the Flat Belly Diet which consists of eating organic foods, lots of fruits and veggies, and the inclusion of daily MUFAs (nuts, oils, avocados, etc.) The best part is that I get to eat peanut butter every day. YUM!

My name is Teri. I am from Newport News, VA. I've lived here for 25 years now. I really love being so close to the water and all the historical places in the area. I am a 1st Grade teacher. I have been teaching for the past 15 years and I absolutely LOVE my job!
