My current lifestyle is not working for me. I am ready for a change. I choose to use my inner strength and resourcefulness to fulfill the daily commitments that will lead to a thinner, healthier, happier me. I am now an athlete-in-training!

Fitness Minutes: 3,327

My Goals:
Goal #1: Lose 100 lbs by December 31, 2012
Goal #2: Get adequate water intake (I'm a big girl so I'm guessing I'll need more than eight 8oz glasses)
Goal #3: Get in a workout at least 5 times a week with two rest days.
Goal #4: Up my intake of fresh fruits and veggies
Goal #5: Replace refined white sugar and starches with whole grains and cane juice crystals (purer form of cane sugar - healthier!).

My Program:
Following a "real food" eating plan (no refined, processed foods - all natural, homemade stuff).

I'm currently training to be a chef and have discovered a renewed love for cooking - which goes hand in hand with my desire to follow a real food eating plan.

I control the ingredients and how everything is cooked. In my classes I'm learning new ways to cook and season food. It helps to make my daily meals new and interesting.

Personal Information:
I was born and raised on the south side of Chicago. I currently live in the northern suburbs (near Wisconsin border). One of my dreams is to have a farm one day with plenty of animals and a huge garden (providing fresh milk, eggs, cheese, veggies and fruit). Actually I would love to become as self-reliant as possible.
