I've taken my battle cry from the movie 'Fried Green Tomatoes', because whenever I've wanted to propel myself forward I've used this word. I am a 50-something native Californian who enjoys the outdoors. I am married to my best friend and now that we are in our 50s, we are looking to improve/maintain our health to continue to live with no boundaries or regrets.

My goal is to wear all those size 6-8 clothes I have hung onto for the past 9 years.

 I am tracking my calories and hitting the gym or biking/hiking at least 4 days a week and doing strength training 2 days a week.
