I'm officially DONE!!! Time to find that thin girl looking out of this fat body.............


Sunday Aug 17th, 2008 is DAY ONE. My ultimate goal is to lose 100lbs in one year (52wks). Other goals include the following:

*12 Cups of H20 per day
*1500 Calories per day
*No Sweets (NO Exceptions!)
*No Soda (not even diet!)
*Limit Salt intake
*Up the Protein
*Up the Calcium
*30-45 minutes aerobic exercise per day Mon-Sat
*Keep up with journal and Spark People DAILY!
*Weekly weigh in
*Monthly weigh in and measure


***Weight Loss Goals***

1st: 190 by November 9th, 2008

2nd: 150 by February 1st, 2009

3rd: 130 by April 26th, 2009

4th: 120 by July 29th, 2009

5th: 110-115 by August 16th, 2009 (I am giving myself a range to fall into as my final goal!)


***REWARDS***
I'm not one to really focus on rewards but would like to have some incentives other than being healthy for me and the family!!! Also, someone suggested I think of some rewards for myself... I am not much of a "me" person but will try:

190: Rid the maternity clothes!

150: A New Outfit including the shoes! lol

130: THAT Purse I *really* want!

120: A New "DO" and a facial too!

110-115: A vacation with hubby and the kids! Oh! and revamp my wardrobe of course!!!!

Week 6: Oct.6-12: 200.6 2lbs down!
Week 7: Oct.13-19: 200.0 .6 down (wish it was 6 tho)
Week 8: Oct.20-26: 200.0 maintained (need to lose 5 to goal)

My Goals:
110-115 is my ultimate goal range. But also to live and eat healthier as well for the sake of my children.


My Program:
*1500 calories per day
*12 cups of water per day
*30-45min exercise per day mon-saturday
*more protein and calcium
*more fiber and whole grains
*more fruits and veggies



Personal Information:
My name is Amber :) I won't be showing much skin on this page as you can clearly see that I cover quite modestly. However, I will update my weight and such.

I am a mom of 6 with my oldest nearly 10yrs and my youngest a newborn...

I gained about 100lbs with my first baby, Lost some, only to gain and lose a few more times with each pregnancy...

It is time to get healthy!!!


Other Information:
I enjoy reading all sorts of stuff. I am a big birth junkie (duh).. I am also a Certified Doula (labor doula) and am working on becoming a Child Birth Educator, among a few other things.
