Introduction Text Well hello there... I guess Im on that old bandwagon again..hopefully for at least a consistent year...doing a lifestyle change...lowering calories to a comphortable level! Want to know about me....I am a 28 year old that hides herself amongst 100 pairs of shoes and 350 accessories..mixed with a side of highly pigmented makeup and you have yourself a Nichole! I no longer want to find comfort in material things of this world..I want to accept myself..unveil myself!!!!! I have my own style.I love photography and think that everyone has a comphortable "angle" Im interested in starting relationships with goal orientated people and rekindeling my relationship with god ..I HAVE to be a good role model for my two girls and this is why I know this is a challenge I will not lose! Things I enjoy are spending time with my family, girls nights out, doing makeup and hair, making girls hair ribbons, traveling, photography. I feel like 40 is the new 20, the media is evil and we care too much about image. I am not doing this to reap compliments but to enjoy the energy changes I will recieve from carrying around less weight, for my children who will one day face the scrutinization of weight images and my grandmother whom I promised before her passing I would try to live life to its fullest. Im as real as they get..I have two men in my life god and my husband and im ready for my new journey to unfold. Heres to all of us no matter what your goals are!!! ***************************************************************** My story.. In highschool I always carried my weight pretty decent. I was in a size 11 jeans and was comphy. The weight didnt start to show untill my move from NY to IN. Moving to a new place, not knowing anyone...no familiar surroundings... really put me into a stump and me and food became pretty close. From there on it was downhill...I never got to "lose" the weight before getting pregnant which then became another problem because now i was faced with the added weight before pregnancy and then the baby weight afterwards...I almost touched 300 pounds during my pregnancy. It was summer when I had her and I needed clothes..I remember walking into a store and not being able to find a size 26 capris..I tried on a 24 in the fitting room and was spilling out everywhere, I literally had a nervous brake down....I couldnt handle how much I let myself go and the guilt was very heavy. Slowly within 2 years the weight started melting off itself with the help of lowcarbing with atkins for a year and totalling a loss of about 90 pounds...then I got pregnant again...this time I didnt gain too much weight but nonetheless I still gained some. Three years and sometime later Im still fighting the food demons...I like to diet/lose weight and then when I feel like I cheated or fail I let myself completly go..its like a voice in my head says pssh go ahead you already screwed this up bigtime, mine as well enjoy yourself...so I do....My weakness is not sweets or carbs (although I have a huge sweettooth) its convienence. If its easy to stuff in my face and fill that hunger void im all about it! Now I have slowed my role..so to speak..I track everything I chew...I dont overdo it and I make sure I exercise m-f for at least a half hour. I honestly am not a very patient person so its hard to not see results right away but Im trying to stay away from being discouraged with reading success stories and visions of hot summer weather dancing in my head. Im excited, something feels different this time...
