Hi! Please leave a comment and say hello!

I am determined to lose weight and get in better shape in order to ride my MAMMOTH DONKEY, TIKKI... and not squash her!

In order to do this, I have defined my goal and the methods I'll use to achieve it.

Tikki is a great gal and I know there are some fun adventures in our future! While I'm getting fit, we'll be bonding through Natural Horsemanship (adapted) so that when I'm ready to ride, she will be, too. I want us both to be healthy and strong and pain-free.

Yes, Tikki is really a 15-hand donkey, and not a mule!

If you're interested in donkeys, please consider adopting one from a rescue organization. There are a lot of great longears in need of loving homes. They eat less than horses and are calmer; they can be ridden and driven or just be "pasture ornaments"; and they're extremely affectionate and intelligent. They need good exercise and will keep you on a fitness program!

Stubborn? Not at all - donkeys just have a lot of common sense and like to ASS-ess the situation!

Have a wonderful day and PLEASE SUPPORT ANIMAL RESCUE!

Personal Information:
My husband and I have a 20-acre hobby farm in Wisconsin. We provide a home for heritage breed asses, sheep, goats, and chickens. We also have four rescued dogs and five rescued cats. We believe in the humane treatment of both livestock and pets - around here, they're one and the same!

Other Information:
I enjoy knitting, spinning, quilting, crocheting, and weaving. I came of age in the 80s. Just call me Siouxie Homemaker!

I love my iPod and Audible.com's recorded books. I also like British costume drama DVDs. I rarely have time for these hobbies any more due to my farm chores!

I have been dealing with diagnosed fibromyalgia for over a decade.
