Introduction Text As I get older I have always believed it is natural to slow down but our lifestyles today (television, computers etc.) put us at a complete standstill. I don't want to look back in another 20 years and wish I had started something 20 years earlier to feel better about my health and enjoy life and my family more.

March 1st, 2007 - Actually my goals may seem small but I want to keep them attainable. The last thing I need is to get discouraged and quit after a few weeks. I want to lose 10 pounds over the next two months. July 26th 2007 - I only have about 10lbs left to lose. I want to meet my goal weight in the next six weeks and work on maintainance. September 1st 2007 - Well I did it. I have reached my goal weight and set an additional 5 lb loss and made it to 165 lb as of today. My blood pressure has also dropped from 120/82 to 102/69. I am feeling much better and now begin the maintaining and encouraging others to do the same.

First I am joining sparkpeople to have some accountability. Second, I am working to change a few eating habits and third, I am going to get more active by exercising or walking more.

My family and I currently live in Egypt. My wife and I have been married 20 years this year and we have three wonderful children.
