I am the classic dieter. Decide to diet. Loose weight, gain it all back plus a couple, diet and loose it all again, gain it all back plus a couple. Classic YOYO......that's me. I want to get it under control and keep it off!!

9/10/07:Time to get back on it, have really let myself go. I am at 231 pounds and feel terrible. Well here we go!!

10/15/07: Off to a great start, I have lost 21 pounds so far and I am down to 210 lbs.
Now comes the hard part, I have 1 month to get down to a mini goal of 200 pounds by 11/14/07. By 12/31/07 I want to be down to 190, and finally after this long journey by the end of February I want to be at 180.

11/23/07:Made it through Thanksgiving still down 2 pounds for the week. Currently at 203 lbs., didn't make my mini goal of 200 by 11/14/07 but I do still believe I am on track. I still don't know how long it will take me to get to 180, I still am shooting for the end of February which gives me 14 weeks to lose 23 pounds which looks doable to me. I get more and more comments on the weight loss and have no clue as to what I will look like at 180 because it has been many a year since I weighed that.

1/8/08:Damn Holidays...... gained about 5 pounds over the holidays and when you think of all the effort you put forth to loose 5 pounds and just isn't worth it. Well back on it starting the 7th and hopefully I can get back the motivation to get my butt down to 180 by April 1st. Heading to Florida then and my original goal was to be at 180 by February. Hard work, tracking calories, doing my cardio and strength excercises that is what it takes to get it done.

I understand binging all to well. I suffer from the same problem. I call it "the beast"... and it's a hard fight. That's where I finally learned that to keep the beast in it's cage you have to eat sensibly and give him little tidbits every now and again... other wise he gains strength and power over you...

Welcome to the rest our our lives. It's a journey to forever... one good choice at a time.

Thanks for your comment on my page. Yes, I'm already finding the last 25 harder than the first 25. The last week I've basically been stuck at 212, but I know it's because I've gotten a little sloppy. I'm really looking forward to getting these last 25 off. Good luck to you as well!

    Subject: 2 Packer's Jokes Ahead

    Joke 1
God asks Peyton Manning first: "What do you believe?" Peyton think
and hard, looks God in the eye, and says, "I believe in hard work,
in staying true to family and friends. I believe in giving. I was
but I always tried to do right by my fans." God can't help but see
essential goodness of Manning, and offers him a seat to his left.
Then God turns to Tony Romo and says, "What do you believe?" Tony
says, "I believe passion, discipline, courage and honor are the
of life. I, too, have been lucky, but win or lose, I've always tried
be a true sportsman, both on and off the playing fields." God is
moved by Tony's sincere eloquence, and he offers him a seat to his

Finally, God turns to Brett Favre: "And you, Brett, what do you
Brett replies, "I believe you're in my seat."

    Joke 2

A Green Bay fan used to amuse himself by scaring every
Vikings Fan he saw strutting down the street in the obnoxious purple and gold colors.
He would swerve his van as if to hit them, and swerve back just
missing them. One day, while driving along, he saw a priest. He thought
he would do a good deed, and he pulled over and asked the priest,
"Where are you going Father?" "I'm going to give mass at St. Joseph's church,
about 2 miles down the road," replied the priest. " Climb in, Father! I'll give you a lift!" The priest climbed into the passenger seat, and they continued down the road. Suddenly, the driver saw a Vikings fan walking down the road, and he
instinctively swerved as if to hit him. But, as usual, he swerved back onto the road just in time. Even though he was certain that he had
missed the guy, he still heard a loud "THUD."
Not understanding where the noise came from, he glanced in his mirrors, but didn't see anything. He then remembered the priest, and he turned to the priest and said, "I'm sorry Father, I almost hit that Vikings fan."
"That's OK," replied the priest, "I got him with the door."
