Introduction Text I have come a long way over the past year . My journey has taught me to love myself as I am. I know the changes that have occured over the past year have not only been on the outside but also on the inside. I love eating healthy and exercising everyday. The two combination's give me such an emotional high and stress release, playing a vital part in my daily choices. I know that thanks to Sparks I have found my love of kickboxing and a reason to exercise. I know on my 50th Birthday I felt awesome! I have come to accept the slower pace of my own weight loss and know that I may not be where I had hoped to have been, but where my body wants me to be.

My goal is to lose the extra pounds that I have put back on over the past 4 years so I can feel healthy and keep up with my Grandkids. My new goals for 2015 is to take a canoe trip with my husband and to enter and complete in another 5K.

I am eating healthy and journaling all the foods I consume in the day. I use the sparks program to determine how many calories are in the food I am going to eat and preplan each day the night before.I work out 6 -7 days per week doing Cardio and free weights. I allow flexibility in my program as long I am meeting my goals.

My name is Tammy OConner. I live in Grove City, PA with my husband Alan and three dogs, Cooper, Tippy and Angle. I have 13 grandchildren who are the pride of my life. I work as a Call Center Manager. My husband and I own a cottage on French Creek in Cochranton PA where we spend most weekends, canoeing, kayaking paddle boating, fishing and relaxing. We love to find new places to walk and enjoy nature!
