George Washington My plan was to make some great changes during my 40th year- but that did not really work out too well! I experienced some negative feelings and some heartache and pain and had to learn to try to recover from these things without having the means within myself to make the changes. But now I am getting there. I am going to continue to work diligently to find a good job, continue with my new great friendships, try to not worry so much about my daughter and if I am a good enough mother, and to lose some of this weight! I seem to keep gaining instead of losing! It is a new year, I will find a new me!

I want working out to be a natural part of my day; I want to be the person that will go out and run in the rain. This goal has been met; I have run in the rain and the snow and loved it. It is this darn summer heat that I cant get myself to go out in.

My current program is trying to get back into the program! Enjoying learning new ways to enjoy exercise and making some foods that I stayed away from since my daughter did not like them (brussels sprouts here I come!)!

I am a new 'Empty Nester' and not quite sure I am ready for this new chapter...even if I have known for almost 18 years that it was going to happen.
