I'm back on SP with the goal of losing the baby weight I gained from my first pregnancy! Now that I am a working mom (and going to school), I am trying to figure out how to find time to run again. The one and only half marathon I completed was back in May of 2012 and I am determined to run another!

I am also trying to get back to eating more healthy. I was diagnosed w/ gestional diabetes so I was pretty restricted diet wise through my pregnancy and after I had the baby, I kinda went crazy eating whatever I wanted because I couldn't have it when I was pregnant. What I weigh now is the same weight when I first starting running and trying to lose weight. So I'm basically starting over. *sigh* HOWEVER, the great thing about starting over is the fact that I now know it can be done because I've done it once before!

My Goals:
I am getting back on track. I gained back 35 lbs after having giving birth to my beautiful baby boy on Valentine's Day, 2014. I would like to lose a total of 50 lbs and run a half marathon by summer 2015. My biggest goal is to learn how to be consistent w/ my workouts now that I am a working mom.

My Program:
I need to get back on a daily exercise routine. I really want to get back to running 4 to 5 days a week. I am starting all over so it's going to take baby steps. I want to love running again!

Personal Information:
My name is Candice. Born and raised in the suburbs of Los Angeles. I have one baby boy, a wonderful BF and plenty of great friends and family. I like to be outdoors, soaking in the sunshine as much as possible.

Other Information:
I'm a big sports fan. And a HUGE USC Trojan fan! I love to play softball. I also enjoy reading, watching my reality tv shows and hanging out with friends.

    Thanks for the blog comment! Yeah, May is right around the corner! aaaaahhhhhhhhh! lol

    This was our first time going past 7, which is why I couldn't believe she was proposing going from the planned 9 to 10! I was in doubt I would be able to do 9 in the first place, but what I've found is at this point, the breathing is fine, the pace is fine, and really, the only thing that makes longer distances harder is my leg muscles groaning about the extra work. I just keep telling myself that it's a "good" pain (hurts in a "i'm really working them" kind of way) and that seemed like enough to get me through those extra 3 miles.

    Ha, I do however feel it is RIDICULOUS to RUN for an hour and a half! (plus some change). Who does that?!??! Us, apparently! emoticon
