Introduction Text My name is Drew, 41 years old and I'm in Sacramento, CA. I fell off the wagon of weight loss and am back to reclaim my life. SparkPeople helped me lose weight last time, and it will this time. I contemplated starting another account and just making a fresh start. But that's not what this is about. It's more important that people see the process, the success and the failures. I am a strong person with a wealth of knowledge and a will that just doesn't seem to quit. I have snapped back and have come to terms with what needs to be done. We shall see what the journey yields this time around. Once more into the fray. Into the last good fight I'll ever know.

The pictures say it all. I have totally forgotten who I am and where I want to be in my life. I want to be a rock star. I want to be stared at for looking healthy and fit, not over weight and on deaths door. I want to have the motivation and energy to do anything that comes to my mind. Not have to worry whether or not I can physically do it. Sit at a restaurant booth comfortably. Not use my stomach as a table. I want my legs to stop swelling and my feet to stop hurting. I want to be around to see my grandkids.

This time around I am going with an 80 percent raw green diet. I have tried it all and this one makes the most sense from a nutrition stand point. Living foods. This has been the missing link for me. The science behind it is simple yet incredible. Micro Nutrients are definitely where it's at. And while I am not allergic, I will also be going as gluten free as I can.

I am 41 years old, and have two amazingly gifted and stubborn adult children that frustrate me on a daily basis. Creativity is how I make money (not a bad job to have) and I am really into music, movies and art. I love the thought of exotic places and travel. I hope to have the means to do so someday. I am flawed, broken, brilliant and love life.
