Find the Joy in Fitness
I try to view fitness and good health as a joyful process, not a required goal. But I also work a desk job that's stressful and sedentary. It's so easy to skip working out "just today" or sneak a cookie "just once" - and that's where SP is a great community. I've learned that if I want to have energy to do the things I love, I have to get off the couch. I try to make my workouts fun so that I look forward to them instead of dreading and avoiding them. And I always try to remember: fitness ...

My Goals:
- run a 5K (done!)
- run a half-marathon (done, but will likely never do it again...I learned that my body doesn't like running!)
- snowboarding or skiing lessons again next winter
- balance in a handstand
- 5 full chin-ups in a row
My Program:
- yoga and pilates
- bodyweight exercises
- roller skating (so fun you don't even notice you're working out!)

Welcome back!!! I've actually been off SP for a while. I've been using Noom, which is wonderful, but the groups are definitely not very active on Noom.
