    Hello, I am Auntbee..I am not a manager of any group here in SparkPeople. I am a lady who has struggled for some time with eating all hours of the night when I should be sleeping. I started the thread in Emotional Eaters, "Saying Goodbye To Nighttime Eating".
    I saw where you post there:

    "It seems so silly to me that I cannot control myself with this, so silly but so persistent. "
    No it isn't silly, it's an addiction, it's an habit that needs to be broken like my habit. I haven't conquerored it completely; but, I have improved an dI will do this, and I believe you can do it too. The first night of not getting up and eating, I thought I would die. I didn't sleep all night. I wasn't hungry; but, my brain kept telling me that I just had to have this food. Every time we don't give in to temptation, it gets a little easier. There will still be times when you feel you just have to have it; but, after awhile you will overcome, I promise you. Hope you have a wonderful evening!
