God has blessed me with a terrific husband and four beautiful children. I have struggled with my weight all my life. I was ready to make some real changes in 1997 when I had reached my highest weight for the second time, 213 pounds. I gave this burden to the Lord, and He gave me the wisdom and the strength to move forward. In 1999 I adopted a plant-based diet. At that time the weight nearly melted off me. When I met my husband in 2001, I weighed 125 pounds, a feat I never thought I would ever be able to do. After four pregnancies, my weight crept up again, and in May 2017 I found myself back up to 175 pounds even on a vegan diet. I was determined not to reach 213 pounds again. So I'm back at. I'm thankful for SparkPeople and the support we have for each other here. No matter how hard we fall we have to get up, brush ourselves off, and move forward.

My Program:
I already eat healthy food. The problem is that I eat too much of it. So now I'm tracking food diligently and exercising six days a week.

Personal Information:
I live in IL with my four beautiful children and my wonderful husband. I'm originally from Buffalo, N.Y.

Other Information:
I know I can't lose this weight by myself. Only God can give me the strength to do it.

    Did upper strength and core, then 30 minutes of cardio today :)

    I was all ready for my workout, started my video because I knew it would probably buffer and I have a method to keep it going... So in the meantime I was doing some things with my dumbbells, and the video played all the wy through! So when I was ready I rewinded it, started warming up with it And it kept cutting off -__-. This happened a good 5 times before I freaked out and gave up lol! Came back to it a few minutes later and got it done :) and I still wasn't finished so I put some workout music on and did some more! I feel accomplished! What did you do today? :)
