My name is Vicki. I am 34, and not getting any younger, LOL, so I need to do this before I get older and it gets more diffiuclt, as it already is. I am married to a wonderful man, and we have a beautiul daughter Hannah, who is my pride and joy. She is know 8 and is truly the light of my life. She is in the 3rd grade, and I can't believe it. I live in Ona WV and have lived in this area pretty much my whole life. We bought our first house this year in May 2013. Very exciting and stressful all at the same time.

I actually have struggled with my weight my whole life. I have never been skinny not even through high school. I also am a Type 1 diabetic and have been for about 26 years now. I think that makes it harder to lose weight. I have to really watch, but it can be done. My smallest and best I have felt about myself in my adult life was in the summer of 2008. I was between 140-142 pounds. I would love to get there again...

Since then I have been like a yo yo losing and gaining, not being consistent in much of anything I do. . So here I am trying to take it off again. After so many months of off and on again excercising and dieting, here I am again. This is such a stuggle for me and I don't know why I start and stop, gain it all back and start again. I would like to lose about 1-2 pounds per week, and I know I will have some good weeks and bad weeks so I can't let it get me down.

I am only 5 foot so I would like to be in the 120's, but I really don't know what my body will do past the 140's. I want to learn to be happier with me this round and not be so hard on myself.. I now hear my 8 year old daughter say she doesn't want to wear something because she looks fat in it. That kills me but I know where she has gotten that from...My goal is to accept myself and take both good and bad days and learn from that while moving on.... This will be very hard for me.

I think excercise is just as important as dieting when it comes to losing weight and for blood sugars. So I hope to workout at the gym at least 3 times per week or go to a track, and do some weight training. I would like to run some 5k's. I need to train and get faster with them. I can run a 5k but my time is not very good. I also want to weight train and get tone. When I can't get outside or get to the gym I would like to try different things like yoga and so forth..Calorie counting seems to work for me so I will try and consume 1300-1400,calories per day while counting carbs as well for my blood sugars. So here I am again, learning to be a better, happier, healthier me....... _____________________________________

My Goals:
My overall big goal is to weigh 120 pounds maybe a little less not sure yet, however long that will take....

My Program:
Eat 1200-1340 calories a day. Go to the gym 3-4 times a week. Lift weights every other day and do 1 hour of cadio. Eat at home more. Very little fast food. I also want to cut down on my Diet pop intake drinking only 1-2 per day.

Personal Information:
I work as a RN at Cabell Huntington Hospital as a RN.

Other Information:
I love playing with Hannah. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I like going to movies, shopping, and laying on the beach.
