Started my Spark Journey on January 10th 2009 because I was fed up and felt very much it was time to do or die. And as I wasn't quite prepared to throw in the towel and die, there really was only one option left and that was DO!

SparkPeople was recommended to me by a friend and has been an utter godsend. Thank you.

Over 2 years of changing me, and just over 120lbs down. Funny how what was once a journey focused on weight loss has now become a much, much more holistic journey of self improvement.

I am not "changed" - but my focus is!

The weight loss journey have uncovered more than just collar bones and hip bones, that's for sure. ;)

Fitness Minutes: 21,962

My Goals:
August 2010 I finally reached a normal BMI. I still weigh and track all my meals and snacks and although I'd like to drop another few lbs, my main goal now is to live a long and healthy life and never-ever gain the weight I lost. Any of it. :)

My Program:
I weigh and track all the food and drink I consume and have stayed completely on track with this - never felt tempted to go off course, but also have not make any food "illegal" - I eat all I did before but in moderation and with a firm eye on my budget!

Personal Information:
I teach Danish & English at a Red Cross Refugee Camp in Denmark.

I have a daughter from April '06 and a son from December '07. Thriving and contented children, whom I obviously love to the end of the world.

I'm very happily married to the most loving and supportive man I have ever met.

    Well, it's pretty obvious that I haven't heard of it now, isn't it? LOL To be honest, once I got my thyroid antibodies down to zero by adjusting my diet to about 90% primal/paleo, my thyroid became manageable and my focus shifted to improving my fitness and health in general - the thyroid kind of took a back seat. All the best. emoticon
