Ready for the IMPROVED Me
I am a sixty something woman who is recently retired from teaching. Now that the everyday stress and anxiety of teaching in an inner city school is behind me, I am working on improving my overall health by reducing my blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, and weight. My goal is to be fitter for the last third of my life than I was for the first two thirds.

Now that the everyday stress and anxiety of teaching in an inner city school is behind me, I am working on improving my overall health by reducing my blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, and weight. My Goals:
1. Slowly increase my fitness level so that I can walk an hour each morning and exercise a half hour each afternoon.
2. Reduce red meat and processed foods, while increasing fresh fruits and vegetables.
3. Reduce or eliminate the need for BP and Cholesterol meds.
My Program:
I am NOT on a diet.
I am evolving into a healthier life style.
I have no formal program. I am tracking my food and exercise each day and slowly modifying toward healthier eating habits and increased fitness.
