I had my youngest child in April of 2014, I gained 70lbs and got up to 225lbs, By Fall of 2016 I had lost all of the baby weight and I was a healthy BMI again.

The 'diet' was 'over' and then a month, or so, later I had knee surgery. It was something I had needed for about 4 years and just put off.

After that I was unable to weight lift for months and my eating habits were not good, mainly due to boredom. Even after my knee healed though, those bad eating habits stuck with me and I was afraid to weight lift again for a long time.

I did weight lift one time since the surgery and OVER-DID it, I was trying to go back to where I was before, too fast. I was sore for a week, my knee hurt. It was very disheartening.

So, with that and some other stresses, It has been a year and a half of weight gain now, an average of 3lbs a month, a total of 55lbs.

I've decided enough is enough, I need to make a change. I signed the family up for a 5k fun-run in June and we have a family vacation planned for this fall and I want to be healthy and fit so I can make the most of those times with my kids and husband.

I want to be a good example to my kids and look my best for my husband. I want to be healthy so I can be around as long as I can for them. I've done this before, I can do it again.

Lose 2lbs/week and get down to 145lbs by November. Change my lifestyle. Learn to run and get fit.

Couch to 5k, tracking calories, and possibly start weight training again (slowly)
