    Yes, right now I am doing 3x 5K per week at about 6.7 MPH. I plan to start a 16 week regimen at the beginning of the year. I will have to see how the rest of the month goes. I have pulled hamstrings in the past and that is my main concern.

    I am sure you can get into the 20's. Just bump up the speed each week.

    Also, most people reply on the other person's page, that way they know you responded. I came back to your page due to the friend add. It's weird, cause you only see one side of the conversation, but kinda necessary.

    I've only ran as far as 10 miles, so marathon would be a stretch goal. But May is doable, I take that right now, your mileage is less than 20 per week?

    My 24 year old son ran his first marathon last spring and wants me to try to run one in May. I am planning to run 5K's 3x per week through December to see if I can handle a "start" to the training required...
