Welcome to my world. I'm Amy, quite silly, and plan to take over the world. (Not really. Just a little bit.)

Restarting my weight loss after falling off the wagon big time and gaining 18 pounds. (When I had three times that much to lose!)

SW: 213
GW: 180
CW: 210

Weighing every Monday
01/02/2012: 213.0
01/09/2012: 206.6

My Goals:
My goal is to be healthy. My husband and I enjoy a vegan/vegetarian diet (I'm vegan 99% of the time, with the occasional dairy weakness -- usually in the form of sweets!), and we both love to cook. I have recently discovered Zumba for Wii, and am enjoying that. Other forms of exericse I enjoy are: jogging, hiking, walking, and riding our awesome bikes.

My big goal is to reach 180.

My mini-goal is: 199

My Program:
Exercise and eat well. We try to cook at home as often as possible, but sometimes we travel or just want to go out. In those cases, I make the best choices I can with what's available.

Personal Information:
I live in Chattanooga, TN with my wonderful husband. We will be moving some time in 2012, probably somewhere up north. I intend to go to grad school in the Fall. My husband and I are both musicians, though I do not perform much anymore. I teach piano for a living, but that is just part-time so I will be looking for something else as well. I also just started pursuing writing as a career, so watch out, world!

Other Information:
I love music, Shakespeare, English and American literature, classic literature, reading in general. Most of the time, no matter what I'm doing, I'd much rather be off in a room reading. I enjoy school despite the taxing demands. I ADORE my animals, they are like my children; I have a dog and two cats. I live for all things Lush (www.lushusa.com).

a pile of poop, indeed!! i like how you appealed to my poop obsession in your description of "the Big D"... i actually laughed out loud at your comment (which is a huge accomplishment these days!)

thank you so much for your kind, supportive words. i'm trying to turn things around with day-to-day actions while i search for a Dr.

YES! It's a bit of an obsession... probably because I spent the first 20 years of my life in a constant state of constipation. My best friend and her fiance are so open about the subject (which i find to be very refreshing), and whenever I leave their house after a visit, I find myself thinking, "I'm going to find myself a man who will share in my joy and celebration over a good BM."

I swear I'm not gross all the time, just 10% of the time.

I see you're going vegan! I'm so proud of you! I went vegan for about a year, but then had to reintroduce some products because my hair was falling out BIG time (not trying to scare you, that's just how MY body reacted to it.) I give a lot of credit to you!!

Hello! It's great to meet you. I do like reading too although my taste may more casual than yours. I've been struggling how to manage my time for reading and workout. Now, there is schoolwork added, and definitely my reading time is suffering. Good luck for your schoolwork (two degree! you're a super woman!) first and exercise second emoticon
