Introduction Text I am a full time student at NLC pursuing my BSN in nursing. I have applied to UTHSC here in San Antonio and will hopefully have some news by mid-March. I have three kids that I home-schooled. My youngest son is currently working to learn welding at Gary Job Corp in San Marcos. I have a daughter who is 21 and living in Lubbock attending Texas Tech. I also have a son who is 24 years old living in Houston. He is a computer geek. My husband is retired AF currently working for the AF at Fort Sam Houston. We celebrated 25 years together in December!! Last month he bought a scooter for me and purchased a cruising bike for himself. Needless to say, we are enjoying the "empty nest". I need to be healthier and I'd like to be able to run a 5K by summer. I am in decent, but not great shape. I'm also looking to make some friends and find some motivation. SP has been there for me before and I know I can make it happen again!

I want to eventually maintain a healthy weight at 160.

I need to work on developing one that I can maintain with my ever-changing schedule and school.

Originally, I am a Texas gal born and bred. I met my hubby in Jr. High and we married and moved. He's AF and we have been stationed in Panama, Texas, Iceland, North Dakota, Washington, Guam, Mississippi, and finally back in Texas. I am a born again Christian and attend First Baptist Church. I love to travel.

I have a lot of favorites as far as movies and books go. I have been a bookworm all my life. I have a kindle, however, with studying all the time it has been gathering dust on my desk. I am a movie enthusiast but don't care for horror at all.
