It has been a long time since I have visited Sparkpeople. I really fell off the wagon. Four years ago I hurt my knee and then the pound started to add on again.
I have a new knee now but because of all the wear and tear of about three years my hip is giving me trouble. So I am unable to get back into the amount of exercise that I was doing to get to my goal weight. It is harder this way.
I have been coming back here for the last three weeks just to post my foods, I am starting to lose a little at a time. If I don't write it down I don't lose. I am starting slowly, I have been so embarrass about the weight that I have gained, and not liking myself very much. It has been hard for me to turn to Sparks again, BUT!! I know that it works so here I am again.
ONE STEP AT A TIME!!!! ONE DAY AT A TIME!!!

My Goals:
My goal is to be healthy, lower my cholesterol and lose the weight that has been on for many years. I want to do this with my Saviours help, which He is always willing to give. I just need to keep focused on Him and He will do the rest.


My Program:
I make short goals and write everything down that I eat, drink my water and get in some exercise every day.



Personal Information:
I live in Ontario, Canada but my heart is still in Nova Scotia, that is were I was born and raised.


Other Information:
My husband and I both ride bikes. I have an 1100 Yamaha VStar. I also like reading books, one of my favorite authors is Karen Kingsbury.
