I am 32 years old and have most of my life been on the heavy side of life. I have never been as heavy as I am today. I fear for my life and the life of my daughter if I do not do anything about it. I am dedicated to learning all I can about health and applying it to my daily life. I like to walk our family dog (max), walk our daughter to school everyday, do yoga, and eat organic foods. I just need assistance and support continuing as well as becoming more active. I am a full time student and have a full life so sometimes health falls to the way side. I would like to have a health buddy to help keep me encouraged and to inturn support them as well.

My Goals:
My ultimate goal is to become healthy... along the way I'm hoping to lose weight.


My Program:
Well, I don't have a rigid program, but this is a progress for me. I am walking our daughter to and from school everyday. I walk our dog on the weekends(as well as the weekdays). I am working on building a bike to ride with my family. I do 30 mins to 1 hour worth of yoga everyday. I have also started doing bellydancing on the days I am not able to walk.
I eat organic foods as well as try and replace a good portion of my carbs with proteins and no carb veggies.



Personal Information:
I am from all over... lol . I have lived in ohio, California, New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona, Kentucky, Florida, and Indiana. I love to travel and volunteer. My family and I volunteer for Mother Hubbard's Cupboard in Bloomington Indiana every tuesday afternoon. We get many of our organic produce from there. We are also active in our church.


Other Information:
I am interested in other cultures, religions and areas of this awesome world of ours! I enjoy preserving and improving our environment.
I also find mysteries such as Ghost stories, etc interesting.

    Thanks a lot for your comments on my page! I hope you have fun and stay fired up to nail all of your fitness goals! I'm trying to keep my motivation high by continously challenging myself. For instance, my husband and I did the 30-day Shred in September and this month is all Tae bo. Next month, we'll do something else. I'm finding excitement in seeing what I can conquer, on top of that, Spark People has been a HUGE, incredible source of inspiration!
