Hi! I joined Sparkpeople in July 2012 when I was at 165 pounds (I'm 5'3"). I previously had lost 23 pounds on my own since December of 2011. I made it all the way down to 138lbs by Summer of 2013 (so a total of 50lbs). Then I started a new job, and moved, and a few other life stressors, and I've put about 20 of it back on. So, I'm back at it, to try to get back to 140.

I made it all the way down to 138lbs by Summer of 2013 (so a total of 50lbs). Then I started a new job, and moved, and a few other life stressors, and I've put about 20 of it back on. So, I'm back at it, to try to get back to 140.
I was originally 200 pounds+ at the end of 2010. I did not own a scale at that time, and didn't start keeping track until December of 2011.
I love to cook, and make dinner almost every night. Meal Planning is my favorite hobby! Feel free to ask me any questions you have about food, cooking, or planning!

To lose the 20+ lbs I've gained back in the past year and a half.
My Program:
I cook dinner at least 5 nights a week, and bring my lunch to work 4 days a week. I believe in a moderate approach to eating, and manage to fit almost everything into my eating plans, including wine, cheese, and sweets. I don't believe in cutting anything out.
Personal Information:
I'm 30 years old, and am originally from a small town in Central California. I spent 2003-2010 living in Chicago, then went back to California, then moved to Colorado in May of 2012. I live here out in the middle of nowhere a bit NE of Denver, with my boyfriend and our two basset hounds.

I didn't follow my plan, or use spark this summer, and I backslid some..
But I have re-committed and working my plan again, and already seeing some progress.
