Thanks for your comments on my blog. I am no running expert but I'm wondering, have you just started Jillian Michaels or have you been doing it for a while? If it was me, I wouldn't try to start 2 new things at once. I had been doing Slim in Six for strength training/circuit training for about 3 months before I started C25K. I think that helped me because I had strengthened my muscles before starting to run. Plus I was always a walker.
I have had athritis in my knees for years but just losing about 12 pounds so far has helped, along with the strength training. My knees don't bother very much when running so far. But if they did, I don't think I would push too much. Like you, I'm afraid of doing more harm than good.
I've really learned a lot from the C25K team forums, and the week by week ones where everyone supports each other are great.
BTW, just wanted to say that when you posted on my blog and I looked at your picture, I seriously thought you were a 20-something. When I saw your page, I couldn't believe you were 40!
