This was my first 35k. Finished dead last in over 5 hrs (all walking) but I finished. (on left)is pushing forwardis Good reminder for today. Preparing stuff for the fall biggest loser challenge. When I started doing blc's a few yrs ago, I was lighter. My weight has gone up over the yrs, not because the tools haven't been there, but because I haven't been utilizing them. So now on to a new challenge, putting my best foot forward. No one can do it for me. Countdown to the fall biggest loser challenge. Making some plans to go forward and do this. I don't want to be perfect, just want to make progress. Reminder to myself. My current status after doing a new fitness blender workout :OBecause I want a transformation Tuesday. To all my fellow spark lupus warriors out there, keep fighting! How many day ones does it take? I don't know about you all, but I am tired of giving up and starting over every other day. So today starts a new journey and gonna do it different this time. Happy Friday! Today is my day 8 of however long it takes. It's been an up and down week, but I'm trying. I was diagnosed a few months ago with lupus, though I am sure I've had it a while. I was already over weight and add the steroids to the mix, added even more pounds. My body aches, muscles and joints and the extra weight isn't helping. It may take some time but in order to feel better physically and mentally it's a journey I need to take. Today I showed up. I haven't reached this calorie burn in a while, kept heart rate up and sweated a ton. Felt awesome.
15 min elliptical, 45 min circuit training and then a cool down. Walked in a 2 mile race today, but body didnt want to do it thanks to lupus and the side effects from my meds, but I got it done. Happy Saturday! My "workout partners" aren't having it this am 😂
