Giving Insanity another try!!! This time I'm doing it at my own pace. I still sweated a lot and burned calories! Just finished the Plyometric Cardio Circuit. On to the next workout tomorrow!
Made it through another Insanity workout! I'm determined to stick with this! (Cardio Power & Resistance workout)
I made cute little labels for my overnight oats! I added fun flavors this time!
To make Overnight Oats, add 1/2 cup old fashioned or rolled oats to 1/2 cup milk (I used almond vanilla). Sweeten with honey or maple syrup and sprinkle some cinnamon if you like. Add any flavor you want! Here are my latest flavors! Breakfast in a jar!!' 😋

I can fit this dress again!! I had it packed away with clothes that were too small but wanted to wear again someday. That someday is today!! I'm making progress! 😃☺ï¸

Made it through week one of Insanity! Just finished the first workout of week two! I feel my body getting stronger already. I don't have to take as many breaks as before and I can do the high jumps! I may not look like it but I feel AWESOME! I'm so glad I gave this program another try. I know I can do it and finish the program to the end!
Still at it!! This is the beginning of week 3 of Insanity. Just finished my second fit test and made improvements. I have more energy, I'm getting stronger and I noticed toning in areas. Legs and arms are less jiggly and my midsection has gone down some. This is really working.
Clothes fitting better! My hard work is paying off! Seeing results since being consistent.
Pulled another dress from my "too small" drawer today! I never returned it because I loved the colors so much. I bought it without trying on in the store and it was a great price. It fits perfectly now! I looked like a sausage in this the day I bought it. Me and my bathroom selfies... Lol
Caramelized baked chicken legs I made last night. They turned out good. First time using the recipe. I'll try the leftover sauce on broiled tilapia.
I baked some tilapia with the leftover sauce I made for caramelized chicken legs (see recipe in previous post). It's even better on fish!!! Gonna have it with steamed broccoli on the side.
Happy Saturday Spark Friends! It's so beautiful and sunny out so I had to go out walking! Burned up some calories! Gonna have lunch at home, go out to do some shopping at the mall and do my Insanity workout later this evening.
I really hope month 2 will be worth it. I really want to actually finish the entire program this time. I've never gotten past week 3 before. Next week is recovery week. Then 4 more weeks of even tougher workouts.

More calories burned today. This is from shopping and carrying bags up to my apt. I still have my Insanity workout to do this evening. Getting a lot of activity in today.
I MADE IT THROUGH MONTH 1!!! Tomorrow is my rest day. Next week is recovery week so I'll be preparing for month 2 of Insanity, which is the week after next. I am enjoying this program. Very challenging but it's worth it. It's made me stronger and increased my endurance in a short amount of time. Looking forward to finishing the entire program! Now drinking my protein shake after the Plyometric Cardio Circuit. I need a shower. Lol
Entering Month 2 of Insanity! Week #6. Switching my workouts to mornings. Insanity schedule has me doing 2 workouts today so I just did the Fit Test this morning. I beat some of my numbers:) Doing Max Internal Circuit later today. Tomorrow morning I'm waking up earlier to allow time for these longer workouts.
These size 12 pants were too small and I couldn't get them past my mid thighs earlier this year. I couldn't zip them a little over a month ago before starting Insanity. I wore a tight 16 just a few months ago. I'm excited to see where I'll be after I finish the program!

Gonna try these different flavors of protein powders from CVS. Just to see if I like them before buying a big container. These little packs were only $1.99 a piece. It says one serving but I can get two scoops from each pack at least.
I finished the 63 day program a week ago. Now that I've raised my fitness level, strengthened my muscles and have greater endurance, I'm going to focus more on cardio to better reveal the muscles I've defined. The program was great but I wouldn't make it a primary routine. Anyway I did lose 2 pants sizes and others have noticed the difference in me. I may do another round of this program much later on.

Began Slim in 6 today. This program is especially great for toning upper body and midsection. This was the very first Beachbody program I ever bought. Oldie but goodie!

We were all covered in colored powder by the end of the Blacklight Run Lol. Crazy and messy but fun
A great reminder that we are what we eat. I’m working to do better each day.

I did a lot today and I feel so much better. My energy is increasing since I’ve gotten back on track.
My souvenir blender cup from Margaritaville makes a great smoothie cup LOL
Haven’t had this meal in a long time! It’s healthy comfort food for me. They give enough for two meals so I’m having the rest for dinner. Grilled chicken kabob platter with wheat pita, hummus, brown rice and veggies. Sooo good! And I walked a total of 35 minutes to pick up my order and come back. Saved money too by not having it delivered to me. I’m feeling great! 😁
