Jackson did awesome in his first 5k! We held hands as we crossed the finish line at a time of 29 min 23 sec! A 4th place finish!

Me and Hunter had a great Halloween. Jack got to go to a fun Halloween party instead of trick or treating which he thought was pretty cool.

Trying to fit fitness in is sometimes difficult, but it makes you feel like a rockstar when it happens! I squeezed a 2 mile run in between loads at the laundry mat today!

My progress has been so slow that I'm sometimes surprised when I see definitive changes. This tank fit when I bought it in April, but now my body has transformed it into a dress! I've only lost a few pounds, but I guess I've been gaining muscles which is awesome! It's definitely helped my runs!
I was looking thru pics on here and I came upon one from my 5k in 2015. I was about 155lbs and about a month into my weight loss journey. I took the other picture this morning, weighing in at 136lbs. I'm the worlds slowest loser, but progress is progress!
Today was an "auto-pilot" run. I never looked at my watch, and my mind was occupied with kid stuff. It felt pretty good.
I just realized I'm 2lbs away from my goal! I think this tank is an appropriate reward gift.
I found a great alternative to my usual GU for my long runs. These are cheap and tasty!

I don't mind running in the rain, but wet socks suck! This run was pretty awful. I only made 3 of 6 interval goal times, and my shoulder hurt the whole time. Sometimes training is not fun. 😕

6 weeks post hip surgery. 138.4lbs. Joining a gym on Thursday and plan to get back the muscles I lost.
Today is my first 5k race since my hip surgery in January! I’m full of butterflies!

This will be my nieces first year on the cross country team. Im so excited that I get to train her. She didn’t want to wake up early and run today, but she sucked it up and got it done. Im one proud aunt.
I feel so lucky that I’m able to run as much as I can. There are so many people with Hyper Mobility Syndrome that are in wheelchairs or use canes at my age. #Irunforthosewhocant
