Then I posted about my goal of 20,000 today.
Well, it's not even 2pm here and I am over 18,000 already!I DID IT!!!
And with hours to spare!!!!!!I know I have posted a few times today, but I am so proud of myself today. First time in such a long time.
I had a goal of 20,000 steps today.
But I pushed forward even more.
This is where I am ending up the day.
Add in some core exercises and hit 1 minute for my plank (I haven't done one in a long time. So I'm proud!), plus some yoga and some amazing stretching, with a very windy walk to the park with my husband and son, I think I had a very successful day today. :)Doubled my goal for today!
Not as good as yesterday, where I tripled it, but I also worked.

Body is sore. But I am loving it!4th day in a row surpassing my daily goals in steps.
Today was a slower day as I had to work. But I still challenged myself!It's been over a decade since I was last able to run.
My goal was to run a 5k by the end of summer.
Ummm... I think I will have to revise that. Lol
First time running today, and I surpassed 5k!
Wow!High protein breakfast to recoup my muscles after running my very first 5k on my very first attempt, after not running for over a decade, on day 5 of working out!!!!
Feeling freaking fantastic and so proud of myself.What a delicious lunch!
3oz chicken breast with a tiny bit of extra virgin olive oil, pepper, and oregano, BBQed and then topped with tomato and some monterey jack cheese, and broiled.
Side of carrots with a little ranch dip.
And surprisingly filling.
Also ran for 33 minutes today, for a total of 5.5km.
And have reached my daily goal of 10,000 steps already.
I'm in this for the long haul.

30g turkey breast
20 g multigrain wheat thins
20g black forest ham
50g baby carrots
15ml ranch dressing.
Comes to under 300cals.
How would you improve on this? Or would you?
This is how I eat.
Every bit weighed out.
And I'm gaining both pounds and inches?
On top of how often I exercise.I guess I can see a difference now, between May 21st and June 22nd.
May 21st, I was 193lbs.
Today, I am 184.6lbs.
I've actually gained inches, however, there is still a noticeable difference in how I look!
Guess I can't complain too much.Tonight's supper!
Healthy beef and broccoli, made with green peppers, onions, baby corn, and broccoli, with low sodium soy sauce and a chicken egg roll (treating myself- and at 90 calories, why not??) and half a cup of jasmine rice.
Total of 460 calories
So yummy and satisfying!Today's breakfast
Soft poached egg over 20g cheddar cheese, a thick slice of tomato, and half an english muffin, with a dash of salt and pepper, plus a slice of black forest ham and 2/3 cup unsweetened apple sauce.
17g proteinToday's lunch again.
(Need to use up some food lol)
60g turkey breast, roasted
20g ham slice
20g cheddar cheese
20g multigrain wheat thins
85g baby carrots
15g ranch dressing
