There is beauty in all of us....Create yourself !Good day Sparkers...I see the scale has tipped in my favor, I'm motivated ! Now I'm going for a long brisk walk. I won't be showing off my legs though,as it is pretty nippy today! Have a good one ??Well I took a nice brisk walk last evening,it was calm and peaceful. However ,kinda grey as well.Will be glad to see some sunshine and greening of the land....I'm gonna use this photo for my before at 240 as I hope to have an after . My goal is 30 lbs. by July 4th....wish me luck ??is motivated and walked 4 miles today by the GM Headquarters, Detrout River Walk....cool and cloudy but worth the effort !Have a terrific Thursday Sparkers...Eat Heart Healthy Today at work,for 6 hours I made apple cinnamon rolls w/brown sugar glaze ! I had only one bite, cause all I seen in my head was this....Good Morning Sparkers, let's keep in mind , today can be a great day !Good evening fellow Sparkers, I have been struggling to lose for several weeks.I can't drop the pounds as easily as I could when I was in my 20's and 30's. However I feel good and I'm very greatful that I can move without pain . My cholesterol, blood pressure,and glucose levels are normal. I also practice deep breathing for stress and walk regularly, I'm happy with myself and greatful to be as healthy as I am. I feel we should be a bit more kind to ourselves on a daily basis...Started my day with fresh cantaloupe, now for brunch,a fresh salmon patty,with sliced cucumbers,red peppers & green onion w/drizzle of lite raspberry vinaigrette. 300 caloriesGood night...Sweet dreams.....Keep on Sparking.....We'll get there.Let's start our day with some Spark Peeps......tweet...tweet.Had a big bowl of CANTALOUPE ! I've gotten a good night of sleep.However I've been feeling a bit sluggish the last few days and noticed I've been eating more processed food than usual...so I'm keeping this in mind in the days to come...Low carb day....gonna try it out,every other day cut carbs in half of what is recommended for your plan...mine 75 for today....cut them slowly 😉It's a jungle out there ! Good day for a workout, time to cut the grass. My little Twinky doesn't want to walk through it.is ready for another long walk, as I pulled a ligament the last long power walk 11 days ago...so this time I'm gonna do some stretching first. Have a great week Sparkers 🖐Today while running errands,my daughter wanted to stop for a McDs iced coffee w/caramel....she got one and I passed....saved about 300 calories!Hello Sparkers; If you really want to "EAT- CLEAN" When I finish my fresh citrus, I cut up the peels and soak them in white vinager, I then strain and use in a spray bottle for a natural cleaner,it smells good too.However I recently started adding a few drops of essential oils as well. Happy Spring cleaning !Only had mixed nuts for lunch so...Yummy ...chicken breast roasted w/carrots, onions, celery in garlic and wine sauce and brown rice , corn too!Good afternoon Sparkers ! Renaissance Center....walked around the center twice yesterday ! Very proud for I've only done it once previously.Walked 12 miles in 3 days....Treated myself to some new walking shoes !My kitty stealing my yogurt,pumpkin seeds and glazed pineapple! Dang-it!!!Dinner -300 calories...Lentil soup w/ham ,carrots ,celery ,onion & lots of garlic along w/12 grain bread.....fighting a cold this weekend.Healthy Breakfast...Half of a 3 egg omelet ,w/spinach,chicken,onions & fetta along with mango -/chili&lime all for under 400 calories !Got a workout ! Turned over a portion of my garden and planted some Kale --- red & green leaf lettuce --- romain ----- bok-choy --- spinach !Done some planting today...cultivating dirt for 45 min. sure can give you a workout ! Until tomorrow Spark friends......good night 😴is taking it easy this week ,as my knee is still quite sore .It feels fine in the morning ,by the end of the day its sore and stiff,guess it needs more healing time. I did get some planting done early today 🌱🌾🌿Always try to think and talk positive about yourself and others, as it becomes you. Went for a wonderful 2 mile walk and then walked the outdoor fresh produce Eastern Mkt. Got a giant broccolli for only 2 $ and plants for 1.50 $ each, they were in 4inch pots, I put them in 10 inch pots...5.00 dollars well spent ! 😆A tomatoe plant came up by our pool from last year, it has out grown all of our other plants , and still not mature ! It is 4 feet tall & 5 feet wide 😀 oh my !These are shiny metal sculptures of birds in flight over the walking path in Downtown Detroit.,where I took my 3 mile walk today...it was very unique.Chilis for dinner......6oz.sirloin, shrimp, grilled asparagus & loaded potatoes. Ate only half ,will have the other half tomorrow 😊around 600 calories.This was yummy! Chicken enchiladas, 1 1/2 oz. chicken & 1 oz.cheese per corn tortilla w/ black beans for a side...😆 Had a lite breakfast & a fruit,veggie smoothie for lunch . Stayed in calorie range too !Got all this at the local Farm Mkt. for only 4.50 ! Including the plant . I'm having melon for brunch ! 😆 eating healthy doesn't have to be expensive. P.S ....I don't have these items in our garden , my gift from Mother Earth !Grilling night ! Chicken breast beat out w/lemon pepper & garlic and ground pork burgers w/italian seasonings. Had a sweet and salty craving and ate almost the whole 3 1/2 servings....😣😋😯 OH MY , 450 CALORIES ! Interesting how this evolved....😆Enjoyed a frozen yogurt with lots of fruit after a long day at work cooking bratwurst /w saurkraut, swiss cheese & thousand island....they were called "brat ruebens" and brats are high in fat , but I resisted and only had 1/2 of one for lunch.Was at the strip mall this evening and caught the last glimpse of the beautiful day it was.....Nature is all around us , even at the Big City Malls! It did have a half cup of cheese and real bacon pieces , but a cup was all I had for dinner...It was really yummy !Lunch time...I made stuffed grape leaves w/ ground turkey , along w/ pasta salad w/ lite Olive Garden dressing....it's delicious !Dinner.....slow cooker buffalo chicken , on a sub bun and broiled w/ cheese ! Yummy 😋Oh My ! How many calories are burned by scrubbing the stove burners ! 40 minutes ...arm curls ?Breakfast ...fried egg and cheesy grits , with fruit and veggie as well 😆I've been sick in bed for 3 days straight....Fever, nausea, head & body aches, stuffed sinuses. The good thing is , I've lost the 3-4 lbs I had put on the last 2 weeks. Hoping to feel myself again soon. Keeping my positivity up.Still feeling the flu symtoms...lost 5 lbs. in 8 days. I made myself some comfort food 😂 Slow cooker cheese potatoes w/ bacon !Meow-y Christmas Eve ,from our house to yours....we're supposed to be getting 4 to 6 inches of fresh snow tonight....there's my workout !Had a health scare over the weekend , went to the ER for shortness of breath and chest discomfort....Turned out it's an after effect from the pneumonia along with anxiety......Several test taken, all of them came out absolutely normal. Must think more positive 😉 and make healthier choices as well.I'm 5 lbs down from last month , it's a very slow process for me but I'm still moving forward ! It was a good day !Walked 2 miles this morning...and then enjoyed my favorite Mexican lunch....ate only half and was very full....around 400 calories.Weighed in today , still losing slowly but surely . Seasoned & air fried for 30 min...1.3 lbs raw....this will be 3 servings , crispy & delicious !Made a pot of creamy ,cheesy ,broccoli ,carrot & celery soup w/ low fat milk....turned out delicious....and only 1 cup satisfied me for lunch.I've maintained my 80lb. weight loss for 1 year now...Want to lose 25 more lbs. before July 4th. I should lose around 100 lbs to be in the so called "normal " range. However I am not looking forward to having the loose skin issues. I feel that I would be happy at a size 14 as I haven't been 150 since I was 14,15 years old and a size 10.
