Risk control!Tempted by a binge with bad news but decided to take it out in the kitchen with low cal/carb parmesan chicken. Turned super yummy!My son and I got our morning started off right with green eggs and ham!Had a little picnic at my desk today, egg salad sammy, carrots with Italian dressing and a DELICIOUS cara cara orange. My rainy 5k morning turned into an evening of pizza scarf fest. Time to make a plan to for a successful week!There's beauty in every day!Every second of ever day you have a choice. I choose to be happy and healthy.My mantra for the week. It's a good problem to have...Felt a little defeated when I woke up this morning but this helped me overcome it!I am grateful for all the things I have. This week I'm going to make sure to express my gratitude everyday!Comparing myself to other people is something I really need to stop doing! Will be sportin' my Posey for President shirt this weekend! The way it's looking I might write his name down for my vote!Words of wisdom my entire family needs for the next couple of weeks. We will come out on top!Sharing some California sunshine!Simple but true! We have control over our own happiness!I truly believe this... Just need a reminder sometimes.I started truly believing in the statement when I met my husband. Happy November!Every step forward countsChristmas Tree Hunting 2016I've been abusing myself. Time to stop.Last year I worked on being happy, staying positive and complaining less. I'm not perfect but I feel like I made huge strides. Time to do even better!A funny example on how to stay positiveA good reminder to enjoy every moment!Excited about my lunch today! A salad packed with lots of protein topped with lite balsamic vinaigrette!BLTA sans bread! So yummy I scarfed one down before I took a picture.Turkey burger with pepper jack cheese and sautéed mushrooms and onions. Good stuff!Lunch time wrap. Bummed we ran out of avocado but it's still tasty!Time to get focused and stop carelessly eating!2 o'clock slump has me yawning...a lot. Hope this 3rd cup of water will help wash the sleepees away.Day 6 of being completely on track is being difficult. Cravings are starting to creep in and had a major sweet tooth attack. I gave in with sugar free vanilla latte which still keeps me on track. Phew!A key for staying on track for me is a good breakfast.My face when I can smell my co-worker's Chinese food at 3 o'clock in the afternoon.Need some tough love today. This will do.Good breakfast in my belly to start off the work week! Eggs, tomato, red pepper, avocado and lots of coffee!Blogged about the endless pit feeling I'm having today and got some good advise which led me to this drink. It's pretty tasty and makes me feel good because I'm sneaking in veggies.Thankful for all the blessings in my life!Back on track! Chic-fil-a for the win - grilled nuggets with the superfood side instead of fries.Supper time! Shrimp with veggies and rice!Breakfast time! Eggs peanut butter toast and COFFEE!Finding motivation in each day is a key to success. Disneyland vacation 2017Healthy version of comfort food. Turkey kielbasa with potatoes, peppers and onions. And yes, that's a wine glass because this Mom needs wine!An amazing salad for dinner tonight, all thanks to my new favorite dressing!Enjoying the fruits on my labor!Dinner featuring my home grown zucchini. Hawaiian marinaded chicken with red pepper, onion, pineapple and rice.Had 3 of these bad boys tonight. Shrimp tacos with gauc. Could have eaten more, good thing my husband beat me to it.True Story!
