Another day another success

So today startd awful. I had really bad sinus issues. I skipped class and slept in til noon. Finally i dragged myself out of bed, showered and ate lunch.

Still not feeling any better, I put on my gym clothes (because I am worth it haha) and I promised myself I would go everyday, even if only for 20 minutes and really easy. So I went to the store and bought some Sudafed for the first time in my life and went to the gym. Well, I got a smoothie, because I noticed if I have a smoothie to sip on during cardio, I go much longer. Maybe its the little jolt of energy or just the nice coolness hitting my tongue but it really works. When I don't have water or a smoothie, I fell totally drained at 15 minutes. Instead, I started off groggy and slowly warmed up. Well, I ended up hitting my goal of 500 calories!!! I feel so much better now. I think it was the combo of cardio (all that breathing and blood flow) and the Sudafed.

Best of all, I have stayed within my eating goals! I wanted to give up so bad today. I just wanted to get Taco bell or something. Instead I sat down and had a bowl of Total. It was SO good. AND I felt good after eating it because it was light and I knew it was a smart decision :) So thats 2 days in a row of success. Today was even better because I made it to the gym. Hooray for clean laundry hahahah
